Custom Water Filtration Applications
Custom water filtration starts with your water source, solids type, flow rate, and the protection your downstream equipment needs. Yardney configures filtration for conditions that do not fit a standard application.
Systems can be set up for solids removal, equipment protection, reclaim support, pretreatment, or process conditioning, for industrial, commercial, and municipal users.
If your application is not listed, filtration selection can still be straightforward when it is based on water source, solids type, flow rate, and the required protection level for downstream equipment. The goal is reliable performance without overcomplicating the system.
Yardney configures solutions for unique process conditions, whether the goal is solids removal, equipment protection, reclaim support, or pretreatment. For municipal water, filtration can serve as pretreatment, solids control, or process protection.
Fit to Your Water: Configuration follows source water, solids type, and flow.
Equipment Protection: Protect pumps, membranes, and downstream processes.
Reclaim and Reuse: Support reclaim, process conditioning, and compliance targets.
No Forced Fit: Avoid a one-size-fits-all system.
Yardney builds media filtration, screen filtration, and specialty media systems, and each can be configured for a site. Large Vessel systems reach 144 inches in sand, multi media, GAC, or IX resin, and specialty medias are engineered to target contaminants such as PFAS, heavy metals, nitrates, sulfates, and phosphates.
Standard options include ASME code, high-pressure ratings, PLC controllers, and custom filter station layout piping. Contact Yardney with your details and the team will recommend a starting configuration.

What Yardney Can Configure
Available Options
Every recommendation starts from your water data. Dissolved contaminants may need media or treatment steps beyond filtration.
Large Vessel: vessels up to 144 inches in sand media, multi media, GAC, or IX resin; from 10 gpm
Specialty Medias: media engineered to target specific contaminants, supplied in systems or as replacement media
Multi Media: organic and inorganic suspended solids down to 5 microns; automatic backwash by elapsed time or pressure differential
Contact Yardney. Filtration can still be configured around your water source, solids type, flow rate, and equipment protection needs.
Share the water source, the solids or contaminants of concern, flow rate, operating pressure, and what you need the filtered water to do. Photos or lab data help.
Yardney specialty medias are engineered to target contaminants such as PFAS, heavy metals, nitrates, sulfates, and phosphates. Fit depends on your water, so Yardney reviews each case.
Media systems start at 10 gpm, and Large Vessel systems reach 144 inches. Screen filters start at 110 gpm, and separators at 4 gpm.
Yardney supplies specialty media as replacement media for existing units. Contact the team with the vessel details and your treatment goal.
